With the Lake District less than an hour’s drive from our cottages, we are in the perfect location for exploring everything the World Heritage Site has to offer, from countless lakes to dramatic fells and plenty of wonderful villages in between.
Closer to home we have the charming coastal villages such Silverdale and Arnside packed with character and places to discover. In the local area you can also explore beautiful nature reserves such as RSPB Leighton Moss and Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve.
If you’re looking to fill your stay with walks, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Be sure to try some of favourite local routes including Arnside Knott, Farleton Knott and Warton Crag!
